With 12,609 produced, the P-47D Thunderbolt
was the most built Thunderbolt. With a maximum
starting weight of 9 tonnes and a range of more
than 2,000 km, the P-47N holds the record for a
single-engine fighter plane.

In contrast to the Spitfire, the Seafire was equipped with an
arrestor hook and retractable deck. Thus, they were ideal for
naval use on aircraft carriers.
